An ancient symbol of growth and fertility, the Green Man is a popular motif for mask-makers. I've taken great pains to make the leaves look as realistic as possible by recreating holly leaves with heavy gloss and variegated edges.

Carved and layered in three separate layers of leather, painted with acrylics, and sealed with varnish.

This mask is signed and dated by the artist and is affixed to the face with elastic. The backside of the mask that touches the face has been lined with moleskin in key locations for maximum comfort.
