Another couples set, which are a custom commission request for masks based on the Sun Prince and the fallen angel, Naamah, from the Kushiel's Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey.
The Sun Prince is based on a design from the book cover to Kushiel's Justice.
I just had to share them! I'm very pleased with how they're coming out, though they still need a few tweaks before I move on to paint!
Carved in 8 oz leather and wet formed by hand. They got a little tarnish on them from the metal pan I used to soak them, but that shouldn't effect the paint job. I reaaally need to invest in a plastic bin to soak masks in.

I am really looking forward to seeing the finished pieces. I thoroughly enjoyed that series. Are you using leather weld glue to attach the additional leather?
