These are my very first tries at creating accessories for dolls, which is a request I get a lot as a leather crafter. I think I'm going to challenge myself next by creating miniaturized versions of my human sized masks. I welcome the insanity!
These miniaturized versions of a domino mask will fit most medium to large sized dolls and are modeled by a 13" DollSoom BJD Super Gem head. Want to add your own gems and decorations? The leather is very receptive to glue, making these masks a great base for your own designs!
The masks themselves are made from thin leather, hand tooled, dyed with Eco-Flo leather dye for protection, then meticulously painted. Finally, they are sealed with Satin varnish for further protection. The backs are left undyed so that it will not rub off on a doll's face. They attach to the doll's face with a small elastic band. It is not recommended to dunk this item in water or leave it in direct sunlight for an extended period of time, however.
A key ring will be included so you can use the mini mask as a keychain as well as a doll mask. Comes in a small gift box for easy gifting!
