Well, it seems I have butterflies on the brain! I present my prototype mask for a domino style emulating the texture of butterfly wings. Thought I'd try something a little different with the butterfly theme.

I used metallic shimmery acrylic paints for the entire mask. Hand carved from 8 oz. leather.

I really love your alternate take on the butterfly mask theme. It is still very obviously a butterfly mask but a bit abstract all the same. The painting is absolutly lovely! Well done!
