One of the greatest things about being a mask-maker is being able to work with a lot of talented photographers.  Something about a mask just comes to life when it is worn!

I'm excited to introduce my new Print Shop where a few of my gracious photography collaborators have allowed me to sell their photos of my masks and other creations!

Many types of prints are available, from gallery wrapped canvases to giclee!  Go see the wondrous variety here.

These are just a few of the lovely photos available for sale in my print shop.  More will come as I expand my collaborative efforts!

Do you or someone you know enjoy creating photography of masks?  I loan out my items for FREE in exchange for being allowed to use the photos for my business!

Read on at my Seeking Mask Photographers page for more details.

Till next time. Have a great holiday season, everyone!
Angela S.

I transfer my love of painting fantasy art onto the canvas of leather.

Currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, I learned my trade from the tutorials of Andrea Masse-Tongetti (also known as Merimask). Andrea's techniques helped me to finally discover an outlet for my love of the symbolism and beauty of masks, which I had previously only explored via my writings and illustrations.

I have been crafting masks ever since that very first experiment in 2009. I work as a fantasy illustrator by day, where my love of Art Nouveau and Romantic art inspires my leather crafts.

My leather items are meticulously carved by hand, soaked in water, and baked in the oven to harden them. After hardening, I paint my items by hand, where I get to have the real fun of the entire process. For more info, see my FAQ.

You can watch videos of my process on YouTube:

If you're curious about my illustration work, you can find it at AngelaSasser, while you can read my writings at AngelaSasser-story.

Generally around 8 oz. in thickness.  You should also check out my leather mask making video here on dA for the rest of my process:
